Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has just entered into a new partnership that will bring Bitcoin payments to Shopify.
According to the announcement made by the company, Binance Pay users will now be able to pay and accept payments using 40 supported cryptocurrencies.
This new feature is the result of a partnership with Alchemy Pay, which operates an international crypto-fiat payment gateway through 300 fiat and crypto payment channels in 65 countries, and will allow users to make cryptocurrency payments at more than 2 million global merchants through Binance Pay, including popular e-commerce company Shopify.
It is worth mentioning that Alchemy Pay has its own token, the Alchemy Pay (ACH), which is used to encourage the use of the ecosystem.
John Tan, CEO of Alchemy Pay, said:
“[The partnership with Binance] significantly expands the practical backbone applications we build between the crypto and fiat worlds.”
