Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has just put off the distribution of rewards for participating in the first series of Polkadot parachain slot auctions until around February 16, 2022, the trading platform has reported on Twitter.

According to the exchange, the awards will be paid when the winning projects release parachains on the Polkadot mainnet. Once deemed stable, the corresponding tokens will become transferable.

The auction winners are Acala, Moonbeam, Astar, Parallel Finance and Clover Finance.

Polkadot announced on December 18 that all five parachains had started to produce blocks and that the launch of the main network was complete.

The new batch of auctions is scheduled to start on December 23. The six winners will deploy their networks around March 11, 2022.

The developers of the Polkadot project launched yesterday the Shell public parachain on the protocol’s mainnet.
