Italian Regulator Grants Binance License to Offer Crypto Services
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced it has been granted permission to trade digital assets in Italy.
The Italian authorities have approved the application of Binance to register as a provider of cryptocurrency services, which allows the company to provide Italian users with services related to asset purchases. The exchange has written:
“We thank the Ministry of Economy and Finance for approving the requirements necessary to launch a fully transparent business in Italy. Binance has always put customers at the forefront, and by registering the company, they can be sure that our platform is one of the safest and most reliable CEO Chang in the world.
The Italian government banned Binance in July last year from operating in the country arguing the company was not included in the list of authorized providers of financial and investment services.
However, the trading platform registered with the Italian authorities at the beginning of the year.
