EOS Activates Leap 3.1 Antelope Protocol Update

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Block producers in the Antelope protocol (a fork of an early version of the EOS network) completed yesterday a coordinated hard fork to implement Leap 3.1.

According to the project, all node owners were advised to update the software.

Antelope took the stable version of EOSIO 2.0 as a basis and borrowed some components from EOSIO 2.1 and EOSIO 2.2.

The team has also added several new features including improving the life cycle of transactions as well as updated cryptographic primitives that support EVM-related cryptographic features.

We should note that the code of the project has been opened to everyone.
