Sam Bankman-Fried: I Was Not Involved in Fund Transfers From Alameda Research Wallets

Sam Bankman-Fried, former CEO of crypto exchange FTX, which filed for bankruptcy in November, has denied involvement in the transfer of assets from wallets associated with Alameda Research.

According to him:

“None of these are me. I’m not and couldn’t be moving any of those funds; I don’t have access to them anymore.”

He has admitted FTX representatives could access these funds. He has also said he is willing to help regulators investigate the incident.

On-chain researchers recorded last December 28 activity on Alameda Research wallets. The addresses associated with it converted ERC-20 tokens into ETH and USDT, and then into Bitcoin.
