According to the results of Q4 2022, the negative revaluation of 9,720 BTC on Tesla’s balance sheet amounted to $34 million. However, the company did not carry out any operation with its crypto during the last reporting period.

According to the report submitted by the company, the 15% decline in the price of Bitcoin between October and December did not trigger a Bitcoin sale, which the electric car manufacturer bought at an average of $32,099.

This clearly contrasts with the results for Q2 2022, when the company announced it had converted approximately 75% of its own Bitcoins into cash and made $936 million through the transaction.

The company estimated the value of BTC on its balance sheet at $184 million at the end of last year.
