Binance Will Stop Deposits and Withdrawals in USD

Binance will suspend today deposits and withdrawals in US dollars to bank accounts.

Bloomberg has reported that the moratorium on such operations will last for the next two weeks. The exact reason for the suspension of transfers to bank accounts was not disclosed.

However, Binance is reportedly looking for a new financial partner through which it will be possible to resume deposits and withdrawals in US currency.

All other types of transactions are available to traders as usual, and restrictive measures will affect only 0.01% of exchange users, the exchange has said.

According to the company:

“We are working hard to restart the service as soon as possible.”
