Animoca Brands’ subsidiary, TinyTap, has raised $8.5 million from Sequoia China, Polygon, Liberty City Ventures, Kingsway Capital and Shima Capital, at a $100 million valuation.

Founded in 2012 in Israel, TinyTap offers a library of over 250,000 educational games in 24 languages for kids and teens.

Animoca Brands acquired an 84% stake in TinyTap for approximately $39 million in July 2022, and the company began to fundraise in October, closing the round in February.

The money will be used to develop the existing infrastructure and expand into the Web3 sector, with TinyTap offering students custodial wallets to store tokens and credentials, as well as access content from PublisherNFT, an educational program based on non-fungible tokens.
