According to general partner Chris Dixon, the conversations with British policy makers and regulators have revealed the nation’s support for the development of Web3 initiatives.
He has highlighted advantages of the UK such as its constructive approach to the cryptocurrency market, laying the foundations for future blockchain applications, an innovative approach to industry regulation, government focus on results, and its commitment to consumer rights protection.
In addition, the venture capital firm seeks to acquire greater clarity on regulatory rules for crypto startups in the US due to the ongoing litigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) surrounding Binance and Coinbase’s alleged trading of unregistered securities.
