Reading Time: < 1 minute

Binance began in the spring of 2022 restricting its services for Russian users. In August, the Wall Street Journal reported Binance management was exploring options to leave the Russian market.

According to the company’s press service, Binance intends to completely exit the Russian market within the next 12 months and sell its business to CommEX, another exchange.

CommEX has promised to keep users informed of any changes to their service and all digital assets will be transferred to their platform.

In March 2023, Binance blocked Russian traders from using P2P transactions with dollars and euros.

On September 26, CommEX launched its trading platform, serving users in Asia and CIS countries as well as in Crimea.

The company, registered in the Seychelles, will also soon release a mobile application for iOS and Android users.
