Cboe Files Application to List Spot Bitcoin ETF Options Again

Cboe has decided to withdraw its application to list options on spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds and re-file it. This could potentially signal the involvement of the Securities and Exchange Commission in the review process.
Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart had earlier stated that options on spot Bitcoin ETFs could be available in the fourth quarter.
However, the Miami International Securities Exchange, MIAX PEARL, and BOX Exchange have also withdrawn their applications to list spot Bitcoin ETF options.
