Metaplanet Adds 150 BTC to Company Reserves

Japan’s Metaplanet recently acquired 150 BTC, increasing its total holdings to 3,200 BTC. This follows a ¥2 billion ordinary bond issuance to EVO FUND.
In a recent announcement, the Japanese investment firm stated it purchased 150 BTC at an average price of ¥12.5 million ($83,611) per Bitcoin, as part of its ongoing Bitcoin Treasury expansion.
Currently, the firm’s Bitcoin investments total 3,200 BTC, valued at over $266 million at market rates.
According to crypto.news, Bitcoin has dipped 0.24% in the past 24 hours, now trading at $83,323. Over the past week, it has risen by 3.5%, though it has decreased by 14% over the past month.
