“It will not be in London”: Bitpanda Firm’s Stance Highlights LSE’s Struggles

The co-founder of cryptocurrency exchange Bitpanda, Eric Demuth, has delivered a blunt assessment of the London Stock Exchange’s health, confirming his company will take its future initial public offering elsewhere.
“Currently, liquidity-wise, the LSE is not doing too well,” Demuth stated, adding, “I hope that it gets better, but over the next few years, I think the LSE is struggling a bit.”
Rather than London, Bitpanda is evaluating listings in Frankfurt or New York. This perspective aligns with a growing exodus of firms and reflects a deepening IPO drought in the UK, where fundraising has hit a three-decade low.
