Valour Launches Yield-Generating Bitcoin ETP on LSE, Likely Powered by Core Chain

Reading Time: < 1 minute

DeFi Technologies’ Valour has listed a novel Bitcoin staking ETP on the London Stock Exchange. The product distinguishes itself by offering a 1.4% annual yield, a feature not common in simple spot Bitcoin ETFs.

While the announcement did not specify the yield mechanism, Valour’s existing Bitcoin ETP on a French exchange generates yield by delegating coins on the Core Chain—an EVM-compatible, Bitcoin-secured layer-1 blockchain.

This suggests a similar model could be at play, offering investors exposure to Bitcoin’s price plus a yield from the broader crypto ecosystem.
