Ether ETFs Spill $800 Million as Price Plunge Sparks Investor Flight

Reading Time: < 1 minute

It was a brutal week for Spot Ethereum ETFs. As Ether’s price tumbled below $4,000, investors headed for the exits, resulting in a record weekly outflow of nearly $800 million.

The two-day sell-off last Thursday and Friday alone saw around half a billion dollars pulled out. The flight was widespread: Fidelity’s fund was hit hardest with a $362 million withdrawal, and BlackRock’s flagship fund lost over $200 million.

While prices have slightly recovered to around $4,020, the week highlighted investor skittishness in the face of technical and macroeconomic pressures.
