Gemini‘s expansion in Australia is set to transform its operational capabilities, thanks to a new entity registered with the financial intelligence agency AUSTRAC.

According to Asia Pacific head Saad Ahmed, this ends the need to walk a “strict legal tight-rope” for marketing and payments.

To lead the charge, Gemini has appointed James Logan, a veteran who previously headed the local operations of rival exchanges Luno and Bitget, signaling a serious intent to compete for market share.
