Citi and Coinbase Partner to Simplify Corporate Access to Crypto Payments

Corporate clients of Citigroup will soon have a simpler path to using digital assets, thanks to a new exploration partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.
The joint effort is designed to improve digital-payment initiatives, specifically by creating efficient fiat-to-stablecoin payout channels.
The collaboration aims to combine Citi’s extensive global reach in payments with Coinbase’s market leadership in digital assets. “We’re creating solutions that can simplify and expand access to digital asset payments,” said Brian Foster of Coinbase.
This initiative is part of a broader industry trend where traditional financial services are integrating crypto tools to modernize their offerings.
