While the NFT market as a whole experienced a 54% decrease in sales in May, a new milestone was reached by digital collectibles on the Bitcoin blockchain.

As reported by NFT data tracker CryptoSlam, the total sales volume of Bitcoin-based NFTs has exceeded $4 billion as of June 4. This includes both NFT sales totaling $3.97 billion and wash sales adding up to $82 million.

In the past 30 days, Bitcoin-based NFTs have seen a sales volume of $171 million, making it the top blockchain in terms of sales volume. Ethereum follows closely behind with $159 million, while Solana records $90 million in sales in the same time period.

Despite having the highest sales volume in the past month, Bitcoin-based NFTs hold the fourth spot in overall sales among blockchains. The top three spots are held by the Ronin blockchain, with a total of $4.2 billion in all-time sales.
