Crypto to Become a National Priority in US: Report

According to sources familiar with the matter, it has been reported that President-elect Donald Trump plans to issue an executive order to make cryptocurrency a national priority.

The order aims to strengthen government collaboration with the crypto industry and establish a crypto advisory council to represent the interests of industry players within Trump’s administration.

Some experts, such as Ron Hammond from the Blockchain Association, have suggested that this council would consist of crypto executives.

While it is uncertain if the executive order will be implemented on Trump’s inauguration day or within his first week as president, his administration is expected to take a more open stance on cryptocurrencies.
