CoinList Re-enters US Market

CoinList is re-entering the US market for the first time since 2019, hosting a token sale for the DoubleZero Foundation, creators of the DoubleZero protocol.

The DoubleZero token, 2Z, will be available to accredited US investors, marking CoinList’s first US sale in over five years. The last such offering was the Kadena token sale in 2019, according to CoinList president Scott Keto.

CoinList’s return coincides with a more favorable stance toward the crypto industry under the current administration. The company had exited the US in late 2019 due to increased enforcement by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which many in the crypto sector viewed as overly stringent.

Keto explained:

“The perceived risk of enforcement and related costs surged during the previous administration. Despite many projects adhering to the rules, an activist SEC pursued unreasonable enforcement actions, most of which were dismissed by 2025.”
