Bybit Gains Key Regulatory Access to UAE Market with Full Operating License
Bybit has secured a crucial regulatory gateway into the United Arab Emirates, obtaining a full Virtual Asset Platform Operator License from the federal Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). The approval transforms Bybit’s provisional access into full operational capability.
With this license, Bybit can now directly offer its products and services to the region’s investors, a key objective in its international expansion playbook. This follows other strategic regulatory wins in Austria and India, as the exchange systematically builds a compliant global presence.
“The UAE has emerged as a global leader in digital asset regulation,” said CEO Ben Zhou, framing the approval as an endorsement of Bybit’s security and governance model.
The UAE is concurrently streamlining its regulatory landscape, with recent agreements between federal and local bodies aimed at creating licensing reciprocity, simplifying future market entry for firms like Bybit.
