To The Moon on Wall Street: NYSE Approves Dogecoin ETF

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Dogecoin, the meme-inspired cryptocurrency, is officially getting a spot on the New York Stock Exchange.

The NYSE has approved Grayscale’s Dogecoin ETF ($GDOG) for listing, with trading set to begin Monday alongside a similar ETF for XRP ($GXRP).

The exchange’s subsidiary, NYSE Arca, filed the necessary paperwork with the SEC late last week. The news was confirmed by Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas, who also revealed that a Grayscale ETF for Chainlink ($GLNK) is “coming soon.”

This final approval paves the way for investors to gain exposure to these speculative cryptocurrencies through a traditional, regulated stock exchange.
