KuCoin’s User Base Increases to 18 Million Users
The audience of crypto exchange KuCoin has increased by 219% during the first half of 2022 compared to January-June a year earlier.
Now the indicator has exceeded the mark of 18 million users.
Of the 9.75 million new customers, 6.75 million are residents of Asian countries (+659%). The growth of users from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East was 216%, 152% and 142% respectively.
The trading volume of the platform for the reporting period exceeded $2 trillion (+180%). The daily turnover of the spot market at its peak in May reached a record $11 billion, while the futures market reached $23 billion.
Since the beginning of 2022, the trading platform has listed 137 crypto assets, bringing the number to more than 700.
The platform currently offers BTC, ETH and USDT in pairs with the Euro and Brazilian Real and has promised to add support for other fiat currencies in the future.
