The Formula 1 racing organization has just registered two trademarks related to digital assets, metaverses and NFTs.

According to trademark lawyer Mike Kondoudis, the filings are for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which is scheduled for November 2023.

The relevant documents have already been filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

He has also unveiled that Formula 1 is also interested in the industries of virtual clothing, sports equipment, financial services, currency trading and insurance.

The racing organization entered in June last year into a five-year partnership agreement with Crypto.com, whereas in September of the same year, FTX became a sponsor of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team.
