According to a report submitted by the SEC, analyst software provider MicroStrategy has recently acquired an additional 301 BTC for $6 million.

The founder and former CEO of the company, Michael Saylor, has said the purchases were made between August 2 and September 19 at an average price of $19,851 per coin.

MicroStrategy’s previous investment in BTC took place in June, when the company purchased 480 BTC for about $10 million.

The firm and its subsidiaries currently own approximately 130,000 BTC valued at $3.98 billion.

Michael Saylor left the position of CEO of MicroStrategy in August to focus “on innovation and long-term corporate strategy,” which implies the further purchase and retention of Bitcoin.
