UAE-based crypto exchange BitOasis has reached an agreement with payment giant Mastercard to launch an account-linked cryptocurrency debit card next year.

After the card is launched, BitOasis customers will be able to order both physical and virtual payment card options. They can be used to pay at 90 million merchants around the world.

Settlements will be made in fiat by converting cryptocurrencies. Cards will be subject to dispute resolution and refund provisions that do not apply to digital asset payments.

Spanish licensed trading platform EurocoinPay agreed in September with Mastercard to issue a cryptocurrency debit card.
