According to a report released by analytical company Santiment, Ethereum whale activity has surged to its highest level since mid-December.

According to the company experts, the price of Ether has increased by about 4% since the beginning of the week and has exceeded $1,200, whereas its capitalization has grown to $153.34 billion.

The network hosted the largest swim of ETH whales, the researchers have noted. They have said that the number of large transactions over $100,000 hit a high of 611, the highest level since December 16.

Ethereum fell to about $1,160 last month after the Fed decided to increase its rate. The rest of the crypto market was also affected by the regulator’s decision.
