Rating agency Moody’s has announced that it is developing a scoring system for “stablecoins.” According to the company, the system will be based on an assessment of the quality of reports confirming the provision.

According to Bloomberg, the initiative is at an early stage of creation.

The company’s analysts plan to calculate points for 20 stablecoins and the assignment of a rating in the usual sense of the agency is not expected.

The firm has said it has decided to create this system due to increased attention to the sector by regulators and investors.
