Gnosis Co-founder: Blockchain Developers Will Find it Difficult to Achieve True Decentralization

Friederike Ernst, co-founder of the project Gnosis, has said his project aims to build a truly decentralized web, however, this will not be easy.
Ernst has stated that the Ethereum sidechain has managed to attract over 115,000 validators, which is 20% of what Ethereum has.
Ernst believes the focus on true decentralization is what sets Gnosis Chain apart from other blockchain scaling solutions.
Additionally, the low entry threshold of blocking one GNO token (~$110 at the current exchange rate) is what allowed for such a wide range of participants. However, Ernst has also pointed out that developers have difficulty creating applications with a truly decentralized infrastructure and often choose centralized platforms.
