Grayscale Investments has launched a new investment fund that generates income through staking digital currencies.

The fund, called Grayscale Dynamic Income Fund (GDIF), will be managed by Grayscale Advisors, a subsidiary of the company.

To select the assets included in the fund, Grayscale used a combination of factors such as staking fees, market capitalization, and liquidity.

The initial portfolio of the fund consists of nine tokens, including Aptos, Celestia, Coinbase Staked Ethereum, Cosmos, Near, Osmosis, Polkadot, SEI Network, and Solana.

Income distribution and rebalancing will occur quarterly. According to Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein, GDIF is the company’s first actively managed fund and provides investors with the opportunity to diversify their portfolio through a single investment vehicle.
