According to posts on the X social media platform, cryptocurrency and digital assets exchange OKX has reportedly stopped supporting Tether trading pairs in the European economic area.

A user named MartyParty shared a screenshot of a customer support message confirming that USDT trading pairs are no longer available in the European market.

The message stated that not all tokens are supported in all markets due to regulatory requirements and only EUR and USDC pairs will be available for spot trading moving forward.

The exchange also announced the launch of over 30 new euro spot trading pairs amid the removal of USDT trading pairs.

There is speculation on social media that the delisting may be related to the stablecoin rules outlined in the MiCA regulatory framework, however, neither OKX nor Tether have provided further information at this time.
