Forbes: Changpeng Zhao’s Wealth Amounts to $33 Billion
Former CEO and co-founder of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, has been ranked 50th on Forbes’ new list of billionaires, with a fortune of $33 billion.
According to Forbes, Zhao’s wealth reached its peak in 2022 at $65 billion, but then dropped to $10.5 billion.
Bloomberg’s billionaires index reported an even higher net worth for Zhao, estimating his assets at $45.1 billion, with an increase of $10.7 billion over the past year.
As of the end of 2023, Forbes’ list included a total of 2,781 billionaires, making it the largest number in history. The total wealth of these individuals also reached a record high of $14.2 trillion.
The United States remained the top country for billionaires, with 813 individuals and a total wealth of $5.7 trillion. China, including Hong Kong, came in second place with 473 billionaires and a combined wealth of $1.7 trillion.
