OpenSea Attracts $300 Million

NFT marketplace OpenSea has closed a Series C funding round in which it has raised $300 million.
According to the company, the funding round has been led by Paradigm and Coatue. However, there were also other participants. Thanks to the investments received, OpenSea now has a market valuation of $13.3B.
The NFT marketplace, which in August exceeded a trading volume of $3 billion, will use the funds raised to improve the quality of customer service, recruit employees, develop products and develop the community.
The OpenSea CEO Devin Finzer has announced the launch of a grant program to support devs and content creators to popularize the NFT ecosystem.
