Volume of Transactions on the Cardano Network Exceeds $12B

The Cardano network showed the highest user activity since September last year last week. The volume of transactions on the blockchain on February 14 exceeded $35 billion.

Another surge of network activity occurred on February 19, when the amount of transactions with ADA exceeded $31 billion.

However, the transaction volume started to decline from Monday, February 21, but it is still at its highest level since February 11.

According to Messari, over the past 24 hours, the amount of transactions on the Cardano blockchain amounted to $12.7 billion. The ADA price fell to $0.857 yesterday night. Over the past 24 hours, the capitalization of the crypto has decreased to $29.21 billion.

Analysts have noted the Cardano network has bypassed Ethereum and Litecoin, in which yesterday the amount of transactions amounted to $5.25 billion and $7.2 billion, respectively.

According to popular trader Ali Martinez, last week that the number of active ADA addresses increased by 167% to 112,500.
