Some Russian users are reportedly having problems to deposit funds to Binance using Russian bank cards. Users are reporting to be receiving notifications according to which Russian bank cards are not currently supported. The notification reads:

“Currently, we do not support bank cards issued in your country. We are working to make this possible as quickly as we can.”

No announcements have been made on this on the official social networks of the crypto exchange. At the same time, Binance has reported it is operating normally, while a representative of Binance Russia has said this is a mistake:

“No one blocked anything. It’s probably some kind of mistake. If we make any changes, we inform about it.”

According to messages in Telegram, one of the users was unable to deposit funds into his/her account using a Tinkoff bank card. Cards issued by Sberbank were also reportedly rejected.
