Binance Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Kazakhstan Authorities

Binance has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.

The document was signed during the visit of Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao to Kazakhstan.

As part of the agreement, Binance is expected to advise the country on the regulation of cryptocurrencies. Besides, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the trading platform will look for a solution “for integrating the banking infrastructure into the cryptocurrency market.”

In addition, Binance and the ministry have agreed to jointly support the Astana Hub. The parties have reportedly discussed the potential of creating a blockchain-focused venture fund and academy “to help local talent from Astana Hub reach the global level.”
