Morgan Stanley: Venture Investments in Crypto Industry Will Decrease Later This Year
Venture investments in crypto-related companies reached $30 billion last year. However, according to Morgan Stanley analysts, 2022 will be less successful, and capital investment in the industry will decline.
According to them, the number of transactions in this sector of the economy peaked in December. But the activity of venture capital in the crypto industry will decrease by at least 50%. We should note a similar situation was observed in 2018-2019.
In that moment, many investors expected that developers focused on the crypto industry would demonstrate stunning results in the next 2-3 years, which is the reason why they invested in these startups. However, the prolonged bear market has undermined the previous attractiveness of the crypto business.
