South Korea and US to Exchange Data on Terra Investigation

The Seoul Southern District Attorney’s Office and the New York Southern District Supervisory Authority have agreed to exchange information regarding the investigation into the collapse of the Terra ecosystem.

The agreement has been reportedly reached during a meeting between South Korean Justice Minister Minister Han Dong-hoon and representatives of the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Andrea Griswold and Scott Hartman.

According to the agency, the parties have also talked about ways to expand cooperation in the investigation of financial crimes, including those related to the cryptocurrency industry.

South Korean financial regulators held an emergency meeting to assess the impact of the incident following the collapse of the Terra ecosystem.

According to local media, the local authorities have begun checking employees of Terraform Labs as part of the investigation.
