Cybersecurity company BrandShield managed to remove 120 phishing sites and 58 fake social media accounts from The Sandbox metaverse project from March to April 2022, CoinDesk has reported.
The agreement between the teams is aimed at ensuring the safety of users associated with the NFT metaverse.
In addition to analyzing and classifying attacks on crypto wallets, BrandShield also evaluates threats from websites and NFT marketplaces.
To consolidate the effect, The Sandbox conducts user training.
Sébastien Borge, COO of the project, has said:
“We need to provide guidance to our players and creators so that they remain vigilant for all external risks.”
