Jared Grey has won the vote to become Sushi’s chief executive.

The members of the decentralized autonomous organization Sushi DAO have given 11 million votes for him, which is more than 83.5%. Andy Foreman of consulting firm EY, who came second out of five, has received 12.51% support.

Voting started on September 26 and ended yesterday.

Grey has experience in business development and IT consulting. As CEO, he led cryptocurrency exchange Bitfineon and DeFi project Eons Finance.

Grey has said:

“I am honored to accept the role of head chef at Sushi. The trust that I have been given to help shape the next phase of the protocol gives me pause to reflect on what Sushi stands for as a project for the entire community.”
