Investment firm Fidelity Investments has opened a waiting list for its retail-focused Fidelity Crypto product.
According to the project page, Fidelity Crypto will offer its clients commission-free crypto trading and custodial services through the Fidelity Investments App. According to the company, Fidelity Digital Assets (FDA) will handle the storage of digital assets.
The message on the company site reads:
“You will not be charged a fee for cryptocurrency transactions made through Fidelity Crypto. The FDA will charge a spread (no more than 1%), calculated as the difference between the purchase or sale price on the account and the order execution price.”
At the first stage, users will have access to transactions in BTC and Ethereum, whereas the list of supported cryptocurrencies will be expanded in the future.
