Coinbase Fires 60 More Employees

The bankruptcy of FTX and the dominance of bearish sentiment in the crypto market has forced US crypto exchange Coinbase to lay off another 60 people.

According to the company, it has decided to reduce staff against the backdrop of the deteriorating financial performance of the trading platform, whose transactional income in fell by about 44% in Q3 2022.

Coinbase CFO Alesia Haas has said that if necessary, the company is ready to fire more employees:

“If we see that our revenues continue to decline, and we believe that this will affect our business model, which we have formed, then we will have to take additional measures to save money.”
