Twitter Adds New Cryptos to Price Chart Function

Twitter devs have just added some leading cryptocurrencies to the function that displays asset price charts.

The add-ons are an extension of the $Cashtags initiative that Twitter Business announced in December. When users search for a combination of the $ symbol and the ticker of a public company, index or ETF, a price chart is displayed. The function also supported Bitcoin and Ethereum when it was launched.

Now, the option includes about 30 coins from the top 50 by market capitalization.

However, there are some popular coins that are yet not supported, for example, BNB, Polkadot or Tron.

When Twitter introduced the $Cashtags feature, it announced user interface improvements and ticker coverage “in the coming weeks.”
