According to data provided by financial services provider deVere Group, 82% of clients with assets under management between £1m and £5m have asked personal advisors for advice on investing in cryptocurrencies over the past year.
Nigel Green, CEO and founder of the deVere Group, has commented:
“Despite the crypto winter, HNW was interested in including digital assets in portfolios. This predominantly conservative group was not deterred by the bear market and unfavorable market conditions. Wealthy investors are realizing that digital currencies are the future of money.”
According to the clients of the company, there has been a surge of interest in cryptocurrencies from Wall Street players.
The company’s CEO has predicted that the ice of the crypto winter will continue to melt, and the interest of institutional players will grow.
