CEO Alex Svanevik of blockchain data platform Nansen announced yesterday via Twitter that the company had to cut 30% of its staff due to what he referred to as a “brutal” year in terms of crypto markets.

According to Svanevik, the company had grown too quickly and had expanded into areas that weren’t part of the initial plan.

Although there were difficult decisions to make, Svanevik stated that they still had several years of runway. He also expressed his gratitude to the departing employees.
