Number of Avalanche’s Monthly Active Users Reaches 1 Million

Avalanche, a Layer 1 blockchain network, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 1 million monthly active users for the first time.

According to Ava Labs, the creator of Avalanche, this remarkable growth can be attributed to the recent introduction of AvaCloud. AvaCloud is a no-code platform designed for launching “custom blockchains” known as subnets on the Avalanche network.

By utilizing subnets, developers gain the ability to construct tailored blockchains and specialized decentralized applications.

Previously, building a blockchain of one’s own required extensive financial resources, years of research, and an experienced team.

However, with AvaCloud, Emin Gun Sirer, the founder and CEO of Ava Labs, stated that launching a personal chain can now be achieved as easily as creating a new website. This streamlined process empowers developers to deploy a fully functional network within weeks, without the need for an extensive engineering team.
