Changpeng Zhao: Bitcoin Will Not Grow Immediately After Halving
Binance CEO Zhao believes that the price of Bitcoin will not immediately double after the halving but will eventually reach a new all-time high over the course of a year.
To track the countdown to the halving, Binance has added a special tracker to its homepage.
According to Zhao, leading up to the event, there will be increased discussions, news, worry, anticipation, excitement and hope.
However, the day after the halving, the price will not drastically increase, leading to people questioning why the expected doubling did not occur.
However, Zhao expects that after a year, the price of Bitcoin will surpass its previous all-time high multiple times, prompting people to search for an explanation.
Despite this prediction, Zhao clarifies that there is no definitive cause-and-effect relationship and that history cannot predict future events.
The tracker on Binance’s homepage shows that there are approximately less than 192 days and 12 hours left until the halving.
