CleanSpark to Acquire Three Bitcoin Farms

Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark has agreed to acquire three established cryptocurrency extraction businesses in Mississippi for $19.8 million, adding a combined hashrate of 2.4 EH/s.

The transaction will be paid in cash and is expected to be finalized within three weeks.

Additionally, CleanSpark has also signed an agreement to purchase a mining data center currently under construction in Georgia for $3.5 million, with plans to have it operational by April 2024 with a hashrate of 0.8 EH/s.

These acquisitions will increase the company’s current computing capacity of 10 EH/s and bring it closer to its goal of reaching 20 EH/s by the first half of 2024.
