Horizen Developers Set Date for Protocol’s Hard Fork

Blockchain team focused on privacy Horizen has announced that their mainnet hard fork will take place on June 7 with block #1 363 115 at approximately 15:00 CET.

The update was successfully activated in their testnet on March 13 and will bring improvements to their sidechain technology.

The Zend 3.3.1 node router will no longer be supported from May 31, with its fourth version being available until September 19.

Additionally, tools for developers on different operating systems will also be refined. Horizen operates a blockchain ecosystem that utilizes zero-knowledge proof technology, and is dedicated to creating sidechains with customizable features, such as those for DeFi protocols.

According to CoinGecko, the ZEN token, the native asset of the project, has grown by 6.7% in the past week and is currently trading at $8.60.
