More Than $83M Are Withdrawn From Binance
A crypto investor has transferred $83 million in USDT to an unknown address, Whale Alert has reported.
An unknown crypto investor has withdrawn more than $83 million in USDT from Binance. The transaction was discovered by the Whale Alert service, which tracks large crypto movements.
The transfer took place after the Bank of Russia took the initiative to ban the issuance, exchange and circulation of cryptocurrencies in the country. The regulator has proposed to introduce responsibility for these actions, as well as for the use of cryptocurrencies for payments.
At the same time, Elizaveta Danilova, director of the Financial Stability Department of the Bank of Russia, has said during a press conference the regulator does not plan and does not propose to impose a ban on the possession of cryptocurrencies for citizens. According to Danilova, Russians will be able to interact with crypto assets in foreign jurisdictions.
